The Mission...

Recent world events and experiences have shown the significance of having up-to-date, real-time information on the battlefield. These current events reinforce the idea of having complete knowledge of the enemy from all dimensions. In order to gain such knowledge surveillance and reconnaissance missions are essential. The U.S. Armed Forces have always conducted these missions, mostly using human power, but this poses a risk to the soldiers. Our mission is to create a product that will remove the risk to human life.

Our Solution...

We intend to design and fabricate an unmanned aerial vehicle to conduct surveillance missions. The unmanned chopper will allow mores aspects of the terrain to be analyzed. The chopper will be a small, fast, lightweight helicopter capable of sending real-time video to its home base. The unmanned chopper will be able to be deployed and operated by a single person, ultimately removing the human risk factor. The versatility of the chopper will allow it to be used in any type of situation, be it in combat, following the presidential motorcade, or even the first to document a crime scene. The uses of the unmanned chopper are limitless.
